What types of counseling do you provide?
We provide CBT, EMDR, Solution-focused. TF-CBT and other evidence-based approaches, outpatient individual counseling services via telehealth for teens, college students young adults, women, and families. Our specialties include anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges.
Do you provide in-person sessions?
We now offer telehealth (virtual) counseling services for clients located in Virginia, North Carolina and New Jersey.
Can my faith or spiritual beliefs be part of counseling?
Yes. We take a client-centered approach meaning your values, beliefs, and personal background guide the counseling process. For clients who wish to integrate their faith or spirituality into therapy, we are able to provide support that honors your beliefs.
What ages do you work with?
Older teens (16 and older), college students, young adults to adults Age range (16 to 75). In Virginia we take adolescent on a case by case basis. Please reach out to stacey@moderntraumacounseling.com
What issues do you help with?
Stacey specializes with women issues related to anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma and PTSD, life transitions (such as divorce, relocation, retirement, caregiving, or entering college), and relationship challenges.
What are your fees?
Our standard fees for talk therapy are: Initial intake session: $ 175 for 55 minutes; follow-up sessions: $150 for 53 minutes. Insurance: We are in-network with select insurance panels AETNA, BCBS, CIGNA (check with us to confirm), and also accept private pay.
