What types of counseling do you provide?
We provide CBT, EMDR, Solution-focused evidence-based approaches, outpatient individual counseling services via telehealth for teens, college students young adults, women, and families. Our specialties include anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges.
Do you provide in-person sessions?
We now offer telehealth (virtual) counseling services for clients located in New Jersey.
Can my faith or spiritual beliefs be part of counseling?
Yes. at Modern Trauma & EMDR Counseling, we take a client-centered approach meaning your values, beliefs, and personal background guide the counseling process. For clients who wish to integrate their faith or spirituality into therapy, we are able to provide support that honors your beliefs.
What ages do you work with?
Older teens (16 and older), college students, young adults to adults Age range (16 to 75)
What issues do you help with?
We specialize in anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma and PTSD, ADHD, life transitions (such as divorce, relocation, retirement, caregiving, or entering college), and relationship challenges.
What are your fees?
Our standard fees for talk therapy are: Initial intake session: $250 for 55 minutes; follow-up sessions: $200 for 53 minutes.
